Founder Crystal Sage believes that our ancestors' stories are not just entries in a ledger — they are the very foundation of who we are today.

• The Podcasts: Through series created through the production company Crystal co-founded - Re[Frame] Productions, like Griot Collective, Sankofa: Roots & Resistance, and Anansi's Tales, they explore the intersections of Black history, folklore, and the enduring power of cultural roots.
• Minding My (Ancestral) Business: A comprehensive workbook currently in development, designed specifically for Black Americans — a practical, step-by-step guide to navigating your genealogical journey with confidence and clarity.

Roots and Advocacy

While Crystal's personal research spans many regions, she is a proud advocate and lifelong student of the Gullah Geechee culture. Her family founded and continues to run the Gullah Museum, and she is honored to support their vital work in preserving the history of the Sea Islands. This deep connection fuels her dedication to ensuring all Black families have the tools to honor their specific heritage.
